Tôyô Kôsoku Tetsudô (East Chiba Prefecture Rapid Railway)

This line was conceived as a prolongation of the Tôzai-sen underground line, also to ease the rush onto the Keisei Company’s trains in the area of Funabashi. 37 % of the line is underground. Many trains are linked to the Tôzai-sen and run between Tôyô Katsutadai (on the Keisei railway) and 1 Nakano via the Tôzai-sen. Both Tôzai-sen trains and Tôyô Kôsoku Tetsudô trains are used.

Length: 16, 2 km. The line was opened in 1996.
