The Saikyô-sen includes the eastern part of the Kawagoe-sen (Kawagoe - Ômiya).
The through services of the Saikyô-sen from Ôsaki via Musashi Kosugi and the former freight-only line to Hazawa Yokohama Kokudai are also considered to be using the Tôkaidô Honsen.
